Background
The Royal Philatelic Society London was founded in 1869 and is the oldest philatelic society in the world. Its library has one of the world’s most significant collections of philatelic literature
Building
In 2019 the Society moved to a grade II listed building in the City of London. This has been renovated to ensure a modern, accessible library and research facility and secure, environmentally controlled storage for the collections.
Collection
Philatelic Literature including books, journals, auction catalogues, exhibition material and archives including the printing records of Perkins Bacon.
